The Militant Apostrophe Protection Society was formed by a small group of grammar-enthused (and infused?) high school students. They (0h yes, the 3rd person!) were inspired by Lynne Truss’s book “Eats Shoots and Leaves” to go out into the world and preach the message of love contained in proper English.
So sit up and open your eyes!
We’ll teach you to cross your t’s and dot your i’s.
Is it who or whom? Lays or lies?
Why should you leave it to surprise?
…you’ll thank us eventually.
Peace,
The August Members of the Militant Apostrophe Protection Society
